Tepoztlán es uno de los lugares turísticos más visitados en Morelos gracias a su la cultura, ecoturismo y por ser un excelente sitio de descanso. Hay actividades para todo tipo de gustos, desde deportes como escalar, subir el cerro Tepozteco, recorridos en bicicleta o solo caminar por el pueblo, comprar en el mercado, visitar un museo, probar comida prehispánica y relajarse en un temazcal.
Esto es lo que más me gusta hacer en Tepoz y los lugares que con el tiempo he ido visitando.

Tepoztlan is one of the most attractive places in Morelos thanks to its culture, tourism, and because it is a great getaway from the city. There are way too many activities, you can either, go hiking, camping, make a visit to the pyramid on top of the Tepozteco hill, eat prehispanic food, visit museums, relax in a traditional spa, shop arts and crafts and just admire the culture and architecture this place has to offer.
This is what I like to do and visit when I'm in Tepoz:

Volcán Popocatépetl.

This was the amazing view I had on my way to Tepoztlan. The Popocatepetl volcano came out to say hi.
La mayoría de la gente sube el Tepotezco el cual tiene una pirámide en la parte de arriba, donde se rendía homenaje al Dios del pulque, pero nosotros decidimos subir por otro camino para ir a una cueva que tiene una vista hermosa y a un punto en donde se ve todo el pueblo. Este camino no está indicado por lo que si uno no lo conoce lo mejor es pedirle a alguien del pueblo que los lleve o buscar un grupo que suba a este lugar.

Most people go for the hike to visit de Tepozteco pyramid which was made in honor to de "Pulque" God. It's a tough climb but well worth the view. But instead, we decided to climb to the a cave with an amazing view and to a spot where you can see the whole town. It is not an easy road and if you don't know the way you can get lost, so I suggest finding someone from the town that knows the way.
If you are just climbing to the Pyramid you won't have a problem the road is all marked down.
Al bajar fuimos a comer al mercado donde venden muchísima comida típica. Este es mi lugar favorito para comer porque es donde ocupan los ingredientes auténticos de la región. En verdad estaba delicioso.

After getting our dose of sun and vitamin D we made our way to the market where you can enjoy the authentic food of Tepoztlan. This is where you can find the typical ingredients and the most delicious food in town.
Otros lugares que ver y dónde comer en Tepoztlán son:
Los Colorines: Este es el típico lugar con comida mexicana que es garantía y no te falla.
Margarita's Concept: es un jardín escondido en una casa de cristal. Es uno de los conceptos arquitectónicos más interesantes que he visto por la zona y la verdad uno de mis favoritos. Los drinks y el servicio son excelentes. Lo recomiendo mucho porque es una gran experiencia.
Posada del Tepozteco: este hotel es hermoso, tiene vistas e instalaciones bellísimas. La comida es regular y lamentablemente el día que fuimos el servicios fue terrible pero vale la pena ir a darse una vuelta por sus jardines y terrazas.

Other places that I have recently visited and that I recommend are:
Los Colorines: This is the typical place with Mexican food that is guaranteed.
Margarita's Concept: it is a garden hidden in a glass house. It is one of the most interesting architectural concepts I have seen in the area and one of my favorites. The drinks and the service are excellent. I highly recommend it because it is a great experience.
Posada del Tepozteco: This hotel is beautiful, it has beautiful views and facilities. The food is so-so and unfortunately the day we went the services were terrible but it is worth going for a walk around the gardens and terraces.
Después de comer fuimos a darle un vuelta a mercado en donde se pueden encontrar artesanías y muchas tiendas. Una de mis favoritas en donde solamente venden cristales y piedras.

After eating we visited the market full of crafts and stores. One of my favorite ones is a big store where you can only find crystals and beautiful stones.
Y por último, no nos podíamos ir sin comernos una "Nieve de Dioses". Claramente estas heladerías surgieron de este pueblito y ahora se encuentran en más de 10 estados.

And of course we had to eat a ice cream from Tepoznieves. This ice cream shops started in this little town and now they are all over the country.
