Taxco es uno de los 111 Pueblos Mágicos que hay en México. Es principalmente conocido por ser un pueblo minero experto en plata y por tener una hermosa y antigua arquitectura. Es ideal para pasear, comer, y disfruta de un lugar nuevo y colorido. Es muy fácil moverse por todo el pueblo. Para llegar a lugares alejados se puede tomar un "Bocho taxi", no son caros y son famosos por ser prácticos para andar por las difíciles subidas y bajadas de todo el pueblo.
En lo personal es uno de mis lugares favoritos, hay muchísimas cosas que ver, hacer y comprar.

Taxco is one of the 111 "Magical little towns" in Mexico. This town is specially know for being one of the most importants silver productors of the country and for it's amazing colonial architecture. It is perfect for spending a weekend, the food is amazing and the place is full of colors. It is really easy to move around this town, either by walking or by their famous "Bocho Taxis" which are very cheap and can take you anywhere. I personally love this place, there are so many things to do, see and buy. Visiting Taxco is a must if you are traveling to Mexico.

Aquí está resumido todo lo que necesitas saber de éste lugar para que no te pierdas absolutamente nada de lo que vale la pena ver (y comer).

Here is a brief summary of everything you need to know, from food to where's the best view in the whole town. Hope you like it.
1. Comprar plata / Buy Siver
-Por todo el pueblo hay tiendas y mercados de plata. Los precios son demasiado buenos para ser verdad, justamente porque son productores. Encuentras gran variedad de piezas y pueden personalizarte ó ajustarte cualquier pieza en ese instante.

-All over town you'll be able to find silver stores (platerías). The prices are way too good to be truth, just because they are one of the principal producers of silver around the world.
2. Paseo por teleférico / Ride the Cable Car
-Existe un teleférico que te permite ver todo el pueblo de Taxco, la vista es increíble y su altura hace que se vea el pueblo en miniatura. Puedes comprar un boleto y empezar en el la parte más alta y terminar en el Hotel Monte Taxco. Para llegar tienes que tomar un taxi. Éste paseo superó por mucho mis expectativas, duró más de lo que esperaba y la vista no era nada a comparación con lo que pensaba. No puedes ir a Taxco y no subirte al teleférico, punto.

There is a cable car you can ride for a very good price. This cable car has one of the most amazing view of all town. I was so happy I took it, the view blown my mind and it was so much more exciting that I'd expected. You can get there by taxi and can choose to buy only a one way ticket and finish your ride at the Hotel MonteTaxco. This is the biggest must in Taxco.
3. El Cristo / The Christ
- Es un momento gigantesco en el cerro del Atache. Su mirador tiene una de las mejores vistas de todo el pueblo. Nuevamente lo más fácil para llegar ahí es tomar un "Bocho Taxi". El camino puede parecer eterno por la subida que es, pero la vista hará que el recorrido valga la pena.

It is a big monument in the Atache hill with an amazing lookout point. The Christ itself is 5 meters tall. Once again, the easiest way to get there is by taxi. It may seem it takes forever to get there but I promise it is worth it, the view is really pretty.
4. Zócalo / Heart of the Town
-En el Zócalo están la Parroquia de Sta. Prisca que tiene una fachada increíble y todo su interior está decorado con miles de acabados y detalles. Para los amantes de la arquitectura esta parroquia es un verdadero monumento del arte barroco. Toda su estructura es hermosa y su interior no se queda atrás. Aquí también hay un quiosco en el que la gente se reúne y hay música. En esta zona es donde más restaurantes hay. Este zócalo es uno de los emblemas de Taxco y probablemente el lugar más famoso y concurrido del pueblo.

In the heart o f the town you can find Sta. Prisca's Church which has an amazing architecture and the inside is full of details and art pieces. Every single detail is so well done. You can also find a popular kiosk where peolple gather and listen to live music. This is where most restaurants are located, and probable the most famous place around town.
6. Parroquia de Santa Prisca
Es una construcción de la época colonial, que tiene dos vistas. En el frente dos torres con adornos barrocos y en la parte de atrás una cúpula de azulejos. Desde mi opinión es una de las más bonitas que he visto.

Sta. Prisca's Church is a beautiful church with two views. You can aprecciate the baroque details in the front and the tilde dome at the back. In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen.
5. ¿Dónde comer? / Where to eat?
-La Parroquia: es un restaurante de comida mexicana y todos los platos son abundantes y está enfrente de Sta. Prisca.
-Hotel Pueblo Lindo: tiene una vista increíble a La Parroquia de Sta. Prisca, la comida es deliciosa y muy barata.
